As others have already said, Hanemaru is just fine. Now that he's evolved, he won't change back, I'm afraid. But that just means he's gotten stronger, so that's a good thing!

[Chihiro pans the camera over so Mimi can see his Leavanny sitting beside him, her claws busy as she works on knitting what look like a pair of socks.]

Shiruku has evolved twice since I got her, and I don't think she'll evolve any further now.

[After spending a few days in Violet city, getting a grip on the general area, and even doing a little training... Veronica was bored.

So... walking. With her Murkrow riding on her shoulder, and cradling her newly evolved Metapod in her arms, Veronica decided to go for a walk to clear her head.

It wasn't long before she noticed the girl that had made the video such a short time ago. She would have ignored Mimi and walked on, but her Murkrow seemed to have different ideas, as it started pulling her by her cloak towards the other girl.]

It's not that I want him to so much, it's just... I thought it was normal, you know? Evolve, fight for a bit, and turn back! That's how it worked with the monsters in the world I came from... But I guess that's not true here!

But I'm sure plenty of people have told you the ins-and-outs of evolution in this place by now. I'm still having trouble adjusting to it and I've been here for almost half a year.

Oh, I'm so glad it wasn't just me! Everyone's been acting like I'm crazy for thinking Hanemaru would change back, but that's just what I'm used to, you know? But now a lot of nice people have told me how evolution works here, and I think I understand!
